Vivo T5 Pro Key gaming features
Powerful Chipset: The Vivo T5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, a mid-range chipset built on a 4nm process that offers 90-120fps performance for demanding games like BGMI, Call of Duty, etc.
When compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in the T4 Pro (~1.3M+ AnTuTu score), the Vivo T5 Pro offers better gaming through improved Adreno 810 GPU, thermals (7000mm² Vapor Chamber) and a 144Hz display, whereas the T4 Pro provides lower, sustained performance.

Mid-range RAM & ROM: This phone features 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 8GB of Extra Virtual RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. This RAM use Vivo T4 Pro smartphone for casual gaming and normal day-to-day life use.
High Refresh Rate Display: The Vivo T5 Pro features a 6.83-inch 144Hz AMOLED display with narrow bezels, with 5000nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming modes delivering clear, vibrant visuals and smooth performance for multimedia use and gaming. When I use the Vivo T5 Pro in the sunlight, its 2000 nits HBM brightness delivers clear visuals.
Touch Sampling Rate: This phone features a touch sampling rate of 120Hz for general use, but it can be adjusted to 144 to 1200Hz in gaming mode. Which is excellent, when we play BGMI and COD Mobile, it supports 144Hz gameplay, and I don’t feel any touch-responsive issues.
Excellent Battery Life for Gaming: This phone has a large 9020 mAh battery, delivering long-lasting performance up to 7 hours of continuous gaming. This means extended periods of BGMI, Call of Duty, Genshin Impact and your other favourite gaming sessions.

90W Fast Charging: The Vivo T5 Pro takes 20% to 100% in under 55 minutes using its official 90W SUPERVOOC charger. This rapid charging speed and the large 9,020mAh battery aim to provide full-day power even with heavy usage.
Vivo T5 Pro Benchmark Score: The Vivo T5 Pro has a similar benchmark score to its previous generation T4 Pro smartphone, where the T4 Pro supports only 60fps BGMI. But the new Vivo T5 Pro optimize for 90fps BGMI gaming, and it delivers a stable performance.

BGMI Gameplay
The Vivo T5 Pro support five different types of graphics, but I tested the BGMI at 90FPS on the Smooth + Extreme Plus graphics setting for the best result and delivers a consistent frame rate.
During my one-hour BGMI gameplay, I experienced minimal lag and no significant heating issues. And it maintained a consistent frame rate, delivering 87-90 FPS during TDM matches and 83-90 FPS on classic matches on the Erangel, Sanhok, and Livik maps.
But gameplay time, occasional frame drops around 67 FPS during jumps on the hot drop place. But it quickly returned to its smooth 90FPS performance.

After one hour of BGMI gaming, the Vivo T5 Pro’s large 9,020mAh battery drains 9-10%. The phone gets slightly warm, but never achieves an uncomfortably hot temperature around 39°C, thanks to its 7,000 mm² Vapour Chamber cooling system.
COD Gaming Performance
Vivo T5 Pro runs Call of Duty Mobile at 120FPS on the Very High/Low graphics and delivers around 114-120FPS. When I play Call of Duty for half an hour, I do not notice any major lag or stutter, and anti-aliasing is off for better results.
During my 30-minute gaming session, the total Battery drain was 6%, and the maximum temperature reached 38 °C.
Free Fire Gaming Performance
Vivo T5 Pro runs Free Fire smoothly at 90 FPS on Ultra/Max graphics settings with excellent touch response, stable thermals, and modest battery drain of 4% in 1st 30-minute sessions.
Genshin Impact Gaming Performance
The Vivo T5 Pro can run Genshin Impact at 60 FPS on the Highest settings. During my 32-minute-long gameplay at the highest graphics setting delivered 51-56 FPS with normal Lag or stutter. Overall gameplay is smooth, battery draining around 8%, and the max temperature reached 41 °C. It means this phone requires optimisation.
